Day 1

Arrival Nairobi, Transfer the Fairmont Norfolk

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be met and transferred to The Norfolk Hotel. Depending on arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy its colonial charm and lush

Day 2

Full Day in Nairobi

Begin with a visit to the Giraffe Center where you can feed and interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes. Continue to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to see rescued baby elephants being cared for before their release back into the wild. After lunch, tour the Karen Blixen Museum, home of the famous Danish author of Out of Africa. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the Mövenpick Rotating Restaurant for sweeping views of Nairobi by night. Overnight at The Norfolk Hotel.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Amboseli. Arrive mid-morning and check in at Ol Tukai Lodge. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in Amboseli, a park renowned for its massive elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 4

Full Day Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli. Attractions include large herds of elephants, predators such as lions and cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and abundant birdlife with over 400 species recorded. The open plains with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop make Amboseli one of the most photogenic parks in Africa.

Day 5

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Transfer to the airstrip for a flight to the Masai Mara, arriving mid-morning. Check in at Mara Maisha Camp, set in the heart of the reserve. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in one of the world’s most famous wildlife areas, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (July–October).

Day 6

Full Day Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the full day in the Mara. Morning and afternoon game drives give you the chance to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and more. The rolling savannah is also home to countless plains game such as wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Optional cultural visits to Maasai villages provide insight into the traditions of the Maasai people.

Day 7

Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, fly to Samburu National Reserve and transfer to Samburu Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in this unique reserve. Attractions here include species rarely found elsewhere in Kenya such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk (long-necked antelope). Elephants are also plentiful, and the Ewaso Nyiro River is a lifeline for wildlife.

Day 8

Samburu Game Reserve

Spend a full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy sightings of the Samburu “Special Five,” big cats, and many bird species. You may also visit a Samburu village to experience the culture and traditions of the local people.

Day 9

Transfer Nairobi, Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before your flight back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be transferred to your Nairobi day hotel or directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your safari.

Oltukai Lodge

With spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the golden plains, Ol Tukai Lodge is a charming, contemporary retreat situated within the pristine Amboseli National Park. Imbued with a quintessential African atmosphere and set amidst beautifully manicured lawns, the lodge’s luxury chalets offer uninterrupted views of the tranquil wilderness of the park or the snow-capped mountain in the distance. Beautifully appointed and inviting, the chalets boast private terraces where guests can make the most of their spectacular surroundings.

Mara Maisha Camp

Mara Maisha Camp is a luxury tented camp located just 4.5km from Talek Gate of the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. It offers fully furnished luxurious units complete with dining & bar facilities. Mara Maisha Camp has 100 self-contained tents. The beds have been custom designed, and are locally made using bush logs. All tents have a flush toilet, hot shower, mosquito nets, clothes rack, carpet, a writing desk and wash basin.

Dine in open-terraced restaurant overlooking glorious sunrises and the sunsets. The camp's chef will pamper you with fine cuisines. Fruits and vegetables are served fresh as they are picked from our it's own organic farm. The superbly designed bar is stocked with imported and local liqueurs along with chilled beers, sodas, and fresh juices. A fireplace adds to the ambience and comfort on chilly nights.

Samburu Sopa Lodge

Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panaromic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge. Fifteen cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animals free movement to the water.

All the public areas are spacious and offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant and reception are decorated with local artifacts and rich earth colours typical of the Samburu area. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool. Additional activities include a visit to a Samburu village, guided nature walks and bird watching.
