Trip Summary

Your journey begins with an arrival night at the historic Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi. The following day, enjoy a classic city tour with Isaac as your lead guide, visiting the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and the Karen Blixen Museum, while hearing firsthand stories about Kenya’s conservation success and challenges. From Nairobi, the adventure continues by road to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for two nights at the legendary Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. Here, you’ll experience thrilling game drives in the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees and learn about cutting-edge rhino conservation.

Next, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for one night at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, exploring a park famous for its rhinos, giraffes, and diverse birdlife. Your journey then takes you to the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve for two unforgettable nights. Staying at Mara Maisha Camp, you’ll enjoy game drives across the endless savannahs, searching for the Big Five and, if in season, the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Isaac will enrich your safari with insights into how the Mara supports both wildlife and Maasai communities through ecotourism. From the Mara, fly to Amboseli National Park for two nights at Ol Tukai Lodge. Amboseli is famed for its elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here you’ll discover how conservation efforts are protecting one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes while balancing the needs of local communities. Finally, return to Nairobi by road, where your safari concludes — leaving you with not just memories of incredible wildlife, but also a deeper appreciation for ecotourism’s role in shaping Kenya’s future.
