Keekorok Lodge
Keekorok Lodge is a historic safari retreat nestled within Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. Established in 1965, it holds the distinction of being the first lodge built in the reserve, offering guests an immersive experience amidst the African wilderness. Surrounded by 700 square miles of lush sun-drenched plains; Keekorok Lodge is right in the heart of the Maasai where you can enjoy the sights of hippo and zebra grazing in the lodge. Keekorok Lodge is an eco-friendly and conservation-committed lodge that serves the Maasai Mara and supports the mission of the Global Alliance of National Parks.
Having retained its historic charm of years gone by, Keekorok Lodge nowadays provides all the modern amenities expected of a good safari lodge with comfortable rooms and high levels of service. Keekorok means “place of black trees” in the local Maasai language and is in an area where there is an abundance of animals. At any time of year the surrounding landscape is teeming with wildlife, including examples of all of Africa’s Big Five, many other mammals and reptiles and over 485 bird species.
Oltukai Lodge
With spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the golden plains, Ol Tukai Lodge is a charming, contemporary retreat situated within the pristine Amboseli National Park. Imbued with a quintessential African atmosphere and set amidst beautifully manicured lawns, the lodge’s luxury chalets offer uninterrupted views of the tranquil wilderness of the park or the snow-capped mountain in the distance. Beautifully appointed and inviting, the chalets boast private terraces where guests can make the most of their spectacular surroundings.
Delicious meals are served al fresco on the main veranda, where guests have the opportunity to spot game just metres away, while the stylish Elephant Bar offers a variety of refreshing cocktails.
