Day 1

Arrival Nairobi, Transfer Boma Hotel Nairobi

Our Kenya Family Safari will start in Kenya’s tourism capital, Nairobi. We shall arrive via the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where our Tour Leader will be ready to receive us and kicks start our journey. We shall then head to our hotel in Nairobi, where we shall check in.

On this day, if we have an early arrival, we may explore local attractions around Nairobi. The city has a national park at its edge, making it one of the special conservation cities globally. Indeed Nairobi is the best place to start your Kenya safaris. Otherwise, we can relax and enjoy the nice Nairobi weather from our lodge; preparing for the Kenya Family Safari.

Day 2-3

Amboseli National Park

The Kenya Family Safari starts in Amboseli National Park, where a great safari adventure awaits. This amazing place is regarded as one of Kenya’s Premium Parks, and is located at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is graced by mighty Savannah Elephants, and hosts the longest and most famous elephant research program in the entire World. The mammals here are great indeed (including African Lion, Cheetah, Spotted Hyena, Nile Hippo, Blue Wildebeest and Maasai Giraffe); and we shall take time to enjoy them. The local birds are great and we shall be hoping to enjoy many species e.g. African Fish Eagle and Lesser Flamingo.

Day 4-6

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

On the fourth days after breakfast, we are transferred to Amboseli Airstrip where we take a flight to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Renowned for the annual wildebeest migration, which is often regarded as the 8th Wonder of the World, Masai Mara National Reserve is the crown of our Kenya Family Safaris. Considered the ultimate wildlife haven in Kenya, Masai Mara has a lot to offer. We shall spend the next days of the Kenya Family Safari learning about this magical destination with our safari guide. Enjoy interesting game drives as you track the Big 5, the Big Cats- Lion, Cheetah and Leopard and much more.

There will be an optional Maasai Village visit on one morning- this is one of Africa’s best-preserved cultures and you will have a chance to learn about their way of life. Here you can also take part in an optional balloon ride across the beautiful Masai Mara plains. This is followed by a scrumptious breakfast and cocktail party; all set up in the bush, with great views of the Masai Mara. This experience is a popular highlight on our Kenya Family Safaris.

Day 7

Lake Naivasha

We shall continue on our Kenya Family Safari to the beautiful Lake Naivasha; where we enjoy local wildlife and birds. We shall enjoy a nice boat ride across the lake as we seek local birds and hippos. We shall then relax at our lodge, located along the lakeshores, for an easy afternoon.

Day 8

Lake Bogoria National Reserve

Departs Lake Naivasha after breakfast to Lake Bogoria. A brief stopover at the Equator Crossing Point before proceeding. We arrive just before lunch. After lunch we proceed to the Lake. Lake Bogoria is home to millions of Pink Flamingos. Approximately 2 million pink Flamingos can be spotted in Lake Bogoria.

Day 9

Transfer Nairobi, Departure

On this day, we shall enjoy our breakfast at the Lodge before departing for Nairobi in the mid-morning, arriving in time for lunch. Later, we head to the airport, marking the end to our lovely Kenya Family Safari.

Mara Maisha Camp

Mara Maisha Camp is a luxury tented camp located just 4.5km from Talek Gate of the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. It offers fully furnished luxurious units complete with dining & bar facilities. Mara Maisha Camp has 100 self-contained tents. The beds have been custom designed, and are locally made using bush logs. All tents have a flush toilet, hot shower, mosquito nets, clothes rack, carpet, a writing desk and wash basin.

Dine in open-terraced restaurant overlooking glorious sunrises and the sunsets. The camp's chef will pamper you with fine cuisines. Fruits and vegetables are served fresh as they are picked from our it's own organic farm.
